Jump Start Gym has been taking extra precautions to ensure the safety and well being of our staff, students, and parents, and we fully respect each family to make their own decisions.

Here’s what we are doing:

We are doing carpool style drop off / pick up! Parents can stay in their car while signing their child in / out for camp/class.

Prior to the start of each class / camp, all students must wash their hands before entering the gym.

Everyone’s temperatures will be taken (with a contactless thermometer) after hands are washed and before entering the gym.

As always, students are reminded to cough/ sneeze inside of their shirts/leotards to reduce the spread of germs.

We will always be reminding children not to touch their face.

Children and coaches will wash their hands again between each event during the day.

Children will be bringing their own snack (or purchase from the front) / lunch each day for camp.

All children should bring a refillable (labeled) water bottle to use during the day.

Water fountains will remain closed.

We will keep to a 6:1 ratio in groups while in the gym.

Games / conditioning  / activities that involve partners will not be done.

Arts and Crafts items will not be shared by the children.

Team / camps / classes will have staggered start and end times to minimalism the number of people in the front room.

When in the gym, children will have their own station / beam / equipment to work on vs continuous rotations.

In between classes all mats, toys, and equipment are properly and thoroughly sanitized. In addition to that, we have professional cleaners that clean the gym throughout the week.

Parents are welcome to watch through the outside windows, but will not be allowed in the waiting room.

Here’s what you can do:

The best way you can prevent the illness is to avoid being exposed to the virus.

Avoid close contact with people who are sick

Avoid touching eyes, nose, and mouth

Clean and disinfect areas that are frequently touched or used.

WASH YOUR HANDS (for 20 sec minimum)

*Please note that if you, your child or anyone in your household have a fever, or cold/flu like symptoms we encourage you to stay home.  We are only taking deposits until your child actually comes to camp.  If your child becomes sick and therefore is unable to attend, the deposit can be rolled over to another week.

We are trying to stay as up to date as possible with what is going on. In the mean time, please visit the CDC website for more information about the Coronavirus and the situation updates
