Just You & Me Kid

Just You & Me classes support the development of a social network for parents & caregivers, helping them to get out and about to meet others and their babies. Working moms benefit by creating structured activities for your baby and caregiver; establishing a routine is important in emotional development.

Moving Monkeys (3 months-crawling) Wobblers 30 min
A free class for babies, introducing new sounds and movements through the use of music, bells, hoops, and vivid colors for stimulation. Children are exposed to other adults and children in group activities on floor and tumble track.

Crawling Caterpillars (7 months-walking) Crawlers 45 min (free 2nd class)
A class designed to introduce babies to different sounds and movements. We create an environment that helps them to become comfortable with different faces and voices. These activities help little ones start to build a tolerance to sounds and changes, which leads to better sleeping. (Can’t go wrong there!). We utilize music, bells, hoops, and vivid colors to stimulate the infants.

Climbing Crabs (10-17 months) Walkers 45 min (free 2nd class)
The activities in this class have a broader focus on movement and motor skills. Coordination & balance take on a greater role in these classes. This class continues the Crawling Caterpillars goal of supporting the development of a social network. We utilize music, bells, hoops, and vivid colors to stimulate the infants.

Jumping Jaguars (18 months-2.2 years) Trotters 45 min
Class activities encourage children to see outside of their own environment as they parallel play. Parents play a very physical role helping their child learn new positions and activities. We also discover our independence by building confidence and self-awareness through special “by myself” activities. Activities at this age are focused on early cognitive development. Children are introduced to some basic gymnastics skills on the balance beam (kick, dip, and hop) bars (open, close and holding on tight). All activities are explored through creative games such as taking a pretend trip to the zoo and other exotic places.

Sam yellow barHopping Hares (2-3.5 years) Runners 45 min
Children are introduced to the concept of separation as a part of their lives. Parents become more of a verbal presence than a physical. While enjoying all this fun we also try to work on taking our turn and remembering our listening ears to foster socialization. We continue to introduce the concept of independence, building confidence and self-awareness through special “kids only” activities. Activities include basic gymnastics skills on the balance beam (kick, dip, and hop) bars (peek a boo, open/close and holding on tight).
